====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 26-06-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 354, 506 and 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a young boy, aged about 23 years and the occurrence took place when he was studying in Chanakya Law University, Patna and now the petitioner after passing out has applied for being enrolled with the Bar Council. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the informant was not a student of Chanakya Law University and farewell was being given to the 5th year student in which he as an outsider had

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27150 of 2023(2) dt.26-06-2023 2/2 also participated and when this occurrence is alleged to have taken place as the petitioner and other students were objecting to his participation in the farewell.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Jakkanpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
