The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- "(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authorities to cancel the compassionate appointment of the respondent no. 8 and also recover the death claim of his father namely late Jagarnath Thakur.

(ii) For further direction to the respondent authorities to produce entire proceeding of

Patna High Court CWJC No.17824 of 2015(2) dt.21-09-2023 2/2 the compassionate appointment of respondent no. 8.

(iii) For further direction to the respondent authorities to consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and a speaking order within time frame."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law for redressal of his grievances. Liberty so sought, is granted. 3.
