Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai Mahila P.S. Case No. 27 of 2022 / G.R. No. 46/22 registered for the offences under Sections 376, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4/6 POSCO Act and 67(A)/66(E) I.T. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2023.

The prosecution story is in short is that the informant knew the petitioner and the petitioner was blackmailing the informant for the last six months and has also raped the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29055 of 2023(2) dt.24-05-2023 2/2 informant on several occasions. He gave sleeping pills forcibly to the informant and then he raped her brutally. It is also alleged that petitioner was threatening to kill the brother of the informant. The accused used to molest her and also demanded Rs. 80,000/- from the informant's mother. When the demand was not fulfilled the petitioner took the land papers and other relevant documents and certificates of the informant and he also tried to burn the house of the informant and threatened to kill everyone from her family.

Considering that the victim girl is aged about 15 years as per the F.I.R and the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.
