2. Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 115 ( 2 ), 118(1) , 109, 352, 351 ( 2 ) and 3(5) of BNSS 2023 . 3 . The prosecution case in brief, is that husband of informant, namely , Sunil Paswan who works as labourer alleged that on 31.10.2024 at about 08:00 AM , these petitioners, Jitendra Paswan and Gayanchandra Prasad who work as contractor brought husband of informant for centring work in the house of co-accused Rampujan Prasad and there was risk of electric shock in the house but knowingly these

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24925 of 2025(2) dt.05-05-2025 2/3 petitioners engaged husband of informant in centring work and during work , husband of informant sustained serious electric shock and electric burn injury over his whole body . It is further alleged that earlier there was dues of wage of to Rs. 85,000/- of husband of informant and when husband of informant demanded the dues, all the accused persons abused him and threatened to kill him.

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that there is dispute between parties with regard to non payment of wages. F.I.R., has been lodged after delay of 1 month 26 days for which there is no plausible explanation which itself casts serious doubt over the veracity of entire prosecution case . During course of investigation , non of the independent witnesses supported the prosecution case and these petitioners have false been implicated in this case only with a view to extort money from them. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5 . Learned counsel for the State oppose the bail petition .

6 Considering the delay in lodging the F.I.R., clean antecedents and circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of
