The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323/354A/498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is elder brother of the husband of the informant. In the past also informant had filed Complaint Case No.280 of 2018 against her in-laws including the petitioner wherein petitioner has already been granted anticipatory bail. The present case also relates to allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same as well as attempt to outrage the modesty.
Considering the background and nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26625 of 2020(4) dt.29-01-2021 2/2 from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Jainagar Police Station Case No.596 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
