2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mirganj P.S. Case No. 521 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 109, 118(2), 111, 308(4), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioner and others demanded extortion of Rs. 20 lakhs from the deceased and thereafter, the petitioner, Parmendra Yadav, Akshay Yadav and another co-accused went to the shop of the deceased. Parmendra Yadav and Akshay Yadav shot in the head of the deceased and killed him. The petitioner is accused in 15 more cases. He is in custody since 27.02.2025.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

7. The District Judge, Gopalganj is directed to get the speedy trail of the case done.

8. The Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj is directed to ensure the presence of the witnesses. He will ensure protection to the informant and other witnesses.

9. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge, Gopalganj and the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj forthwith through FAX or e-mail for its compliance.

10. Mr. Jharkhandi Upadhyay, learned APP will also communicate the order to the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj.
