Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No.13 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Accusation against the petitioner and other co-accused persons is of torturing the informant physically and mentally for non-fulfillment of demand of additional dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25995 of 2022(5) dt.16-05-2023 2/2 stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that the matter was referred to Mediation Centre, Patna High Court and the dispute between the parties has been resolved. Perused the Mediator's Report at Flag 'A'. The learned Mediator has reported that the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation and the terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them is annexed with the mediation report.

Considering the fact that dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No.13 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
