JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 27-11-2015 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letters dated 05.10.2015 and 19.10.2015 (Annexures 7 and 9, respectively) by which the Additional Collector, Disaster Management, Purnea has directed the petitioners to remove 62 boats supplied by them and for connected reliefs.

2. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners, without going into the merits of the matter, confines his prayer for a direction to the Principal Secretary, Department of

Patna High Court CWJC No.17464 of 2015 dt.27-11-2015 2/2 Disaster Management (respondent no.1) for disposal of the representation dated 17.10.2015 against the impugned letters dated 05.10.2015 and 19.10.2015.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.

4. In the above view of the matter and with consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Principal Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Department of Disaster Management, Government of Bihar, Patna (Respondent no.1) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2015 (Annexure-8), if pending, in accordance with law after granting opportunity to the petitioners of being heard in the matter expeditiously and in any event within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.

5. Any interim relief, as may be sought by the petitioners till disposal of the representation may also be considered by respondent no.1 on its own merit.

6. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the details of the merits of the matter.
