The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 307, 337, 338, 353, 427, 440, 290, 436, 332, 333, 395, 397, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984.
The petitioner and others were identified as the members of the crowd which protested arrest custodial death of Ram Jatan Tanti @ Chena Tanti who was apprehended by the police when Ram Jatan Tanti was in inebriated condition and his daughter had complained to the police about his conduct.

No.36123 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 2/2 Considering the omnibus allegation against several persons including the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur/successor Court in connection with Barhra Police Station Case No. 60 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
