Heard the parties.
The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No.500 of 2018 registered under Section 419, 468, 471, 472 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36884 of 2019(3) dt.20-08-2019 2/3 The accusation is that in the Constable Examination, out of 417 candidates, 235 candidates were qualified. Thereafter, on verification of their documents, the signature/thumb impression of 229 candidates including the petitioners were found different on the Admit-Card to the signature/thumb impression on the Attendance-Sheet. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that only signature/thumb impression of the petitioners on the Admit-Card was found different to the signature/thumb impression on the AttendanceSheet. On mere suspicion, the petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case. Further submission is that the similarly situated 5 co-accused have already been granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail by this Court vide order dated 01.08.2019 passed in Criminal Misc. No.19971 of 2019 with Criminal Misc. No.28691 of 2019. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents.
Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender by them within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like
