ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 11-04-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bachwara P.S. Case No. 124/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to a confessional statement made before the police, the petitioner's name has been drawn in connection with the present case. He further submits that the investigation of the said case is still under process but no incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner pursuant to such confessional statement, therefore, he may be extended the privilege of anticipatory bail.
In view of the aforementioned facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16661 of 2018 (2) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 circumstances of the case, let the petitioner in the event of his arrest / surrender within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the each amount to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-6th, Begusarai, in connection with Bachwara P.S. Case No. 124/2017,subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
