The petitioner seeks bail in Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 230 of 2018 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 611 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the bail application of petitioner was rejected vide order dated 27.11.2019. Vide order dated 02.09.2021, report was called for regarding the stage of trial and same has been received (kept at flag 'Z'), which reveals that 03 witnesses out of 15 chargesheeted witnesses and the record is running for prosecution evidence.

Considering the nature of accusation and stage of trial, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33382 of 2021(3) dt.21-10-2021 2/2 bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

However, trial court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, as the petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2018.
