The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No.987 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail application. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been made accused in the present case on the basis of the confessional statement of the coaccused apprehended at the spot. It is submitted that except

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
