Petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 419, 420 of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 138 of N. I. Act.

It is a case of cheque bounce.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in the case only because she is wife of co-accused, Rakesh Kumar, who is author of the cheques in question. Petitioner has neither issued the cheques nor she has got any concern with the same. Petitioner is a lady and she has got clean antecedent.

Learned counsel appearing for the State and the informant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

No.26254 of 2022(3) dt.18-10-2022 2/2 Considering the facts of the case, nature of accusation and clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest/ surrender within a period of six weeks from today shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Barh, Patna in connection with Mokama PS case No. 244/ 2021, subject to conditions laid down u/s 438(2) of the Cr. P. C.
