=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 27-10-2015 Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the Patna Municipal Corporation and the Life Insurance Corporation of India are present.
In view of the fact that the dues of the petitioner have been paid as also the fact that as and when claims are being forwarded by the Patna Municipal Corporation to the Life Insurance Corporation of India, the same after due verification are being paid, the Court finds that there is no requirement of keeping the present matter pending.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off. However, the Court hopes that in future also as and when the claims are forwarded by the Patna Municipal Corporation to the Life Insurance Corporation of India, the same
Patna High Court CWJC No.7183 of 2011 dt.27-10-2015 2/2 after completing the formalities shall be taken to their logical conclusion in accordance with law expeditiously. The Court further expects that the amount payable by the Life Insurance Corporation of India to the employees of the Patna Municipal Corporation shall be passed on to the actual beneficiaries without delay as and when the same is received by the Patna Municipal Corporation.
