2. The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is that the candidature of the petitioner for the post of constable has been rejected.
3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Central Selection Board, Bihar Patna/respondent nos. 3 and 4 stating therein that the petitioner's candidature for the post of constable was rejected on the ground that in the application form submitted by the petitioner, the petitioner had stated that the petitioner is a Home-guard, whereas the petitioner was actually not a Home-guard.

4. The petitioner has not denied that the petitioner has furnished wrong information in the application form submitted by the petitioner stating that the petitioner is a Home-guard.
5. Under the circumstances, I am of the view that the rejection of the petitioner's candidature for the post of constable on the ground of wrong information furnished by the petitioner in the application form submitted by the petitioner is justified.
6. In that view of the matter, no interference is called for in the instant writ petition and the same stands dismissed. (Nani Tagia, J) Amrendra/- U
