2. The sole petitioner claims to be Christian Minority High School, established and administered by the Shahabad Parish Society, a society established by the Catholic Diocese of Patna. The School was granted recognition as Minority School in the year 2007 by the State Government of Bihar.
3. The petitioner seeks quashing of the conditions laid down in the orders of recognition so granted to the said
Patna High Court CWJC No.9349 of 2008 dt.25-04-2017 2/2 school. The recognition to minority schools is granted under Chapter-V of the Bihar Non-Government Secondary Schools (Taking Over of Control and Management) Act, 1981. Section 18, under Chapter V of the said Act, lays down provisions to regulate, management and control of such minority institutions, which cannot be said to be unreasonable.
4. This application has no merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
