JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-09-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That, this writ application is being filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus, directing the respondent authorities to make payment of arrears of difference revised salary from 1-4-97 to 9.10.2003 by way of revised Sixth Pay Scale with effect from 1.1.96 as well arrears of difference salary by way of A.C.P. with effect from 1999 and arrears of difference D.A from 30.1.93 till 9.10.2003 to the petitioner be further pleased to pass an appropriate writ / writs, order/orders, direction or directions as your Lordships may deem fit and proper."

Considering the nature of relief sought for in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, by filing appropriate representation within a period of four weeks from today, which shall be disposed off by the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, within a period of eight weeks, thereafter, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law and then the consequential benefits, if any, shall also be paid to the petitioner, within the same time frame. 3.
