2. This is an application for grant of regular bail submitted by the petitioner in connection with Nagra P.S. Case No. 137 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 61(2) and 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. According to the case of prosecution, allegedly the present applicant along with co-accused Shiv Kumar on 25.11.2024 took the deceased Rajan Kumar with them from his house and on the next day at 6:00 A.M. his dead body was lying found in a field. First information report has been lodged by the mother of the deceased Anita Devi, on the basis of which the offence has been registered and during course of investigation, the applicant has been arrested.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is no direct evidence against the petitioner and he is in custody since 27.11.2024, having no criminal antecedent. Therefore, it is prayed that he may be granted benefit of regular bail.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the arguments raised by the counsel for the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by both the counsels and further considering the materials available on record against the petitioner, at this stage, I am no inclined to grant benefit of regular bail. Therefore, without commenting other merits of the case, the application of the petitioner is rejected.
