2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. The petitioner retired from the post of Junior Engineer with effect from 31.01.2015. He has filed the present

Patna High Court CWJC No.8362 of 2019(6) dt.20-07-2021 2/2 writ application seeking direction to the State respondents to pay post retiral dues with interest on the ground that pension and other retiral dues have not been paid since long.

It, however, appears from an order passed by this Court dated 24.07.2017 in CWJC No. 12211 of 2015 that the petitioner had earlier approached this Court seeking direction for payment of post retiral benefits and other reliefs. The petitioner had, however, in that case confined his prayer in relation to payment of post retiral dues.

This Court, by the aforesaid order dated 24.07.2017 had disposed of the writ application with a direction to the respondent to pay admitted retiral dues to the petitioner within a period of three months. It appears that the petitioner has been paid post retiral dues. There was no direction in the earlier order for payment of interest for delayed payment of retiral dues.

6. The second writ application seeking same relief, in the Court's opinion, cannot be entertained and is, accordingly, rejected.
