2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 228 of 2013 registered for the offence under Sections 20(b)(C)/23(c)/29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, Randhir Kumar Pandit and Vinda Rai were caught with 45 kg of Ganja. The Ganja was being carried in a vehicle which belongs to the petitioner.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the vehicle was taken by Randhir Kumar Pandit and Vinda Rai for personal use but they have misused the

5. The petitioner is in custody since 27.12.2024 and he claims to have clean antecedent.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge-I, NDPS Act, East Champaran, Motihari/concerned Court below in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 228 of 2013.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Kanti Police Station on first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.

9. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to co-operate in the trial either by appearing personally or through his lawyer in the trial Court on each and every date fixed by the trial Court. Non-compliance of the condition will result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioner.

10. As the petitioner claims to have clean antecedent, the Court below, before accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner is directed to verify the antecedent of the petitioner. If the petitioner is found to be involved in any other case then the bail bonds of the petitioner shall not be accepted. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
