JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 03-11-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1.i. For issuance of an order, direction or a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ for directing the respondent authorities to allow adequate age relaxation to the petitioner for participating in the selection process initiated vide advertisement number 17/2021 issued on 04.05.2021 for

Patna High Court CWJC No.11028 of 2021(2) dt.03-11-2023 2/3 appointment to the post of General Medical Officers on permanent basis on account of the fact that the petitioner is already working as a Medical Officer since 07.09.2010 on contract basis after undergoing a proper selection process.

ii. For issuance of an order, direction or a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ for staying the further process of recruitment of Medical Officers against advertisement number 17/2021 issued on 04.05.2021 during the pendency of the present writ application.

iii. For issuance of an order, direction or a writ of mandamus for directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner for regularization of his services/ appointment on permanent basis on the post of General Medical Officer in as much as the petitioner has been continuously working as Medical Officer since 07.09.2010 after having been validly appointed on contract basis."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner though submits that the present writ

Patna High Court CWJC No.11028 of 2021(2) dt.03-11-2023 3/3 petition has been rendered infructuous during the interregnum period, however, it is prayed that the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the respondent authorities, seeking regularization of his services.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
