The petitioner is in custody in connection with Barahiya P.S. Case No. 272 of 2018 arising out of N.D.P.S. Case 16 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 8, 20(b)(i)(c), 25, 29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.12.2018. He further submits that in the instant case 4 kg. Ganja was seized but nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and he has no concern with the seized Ganja.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal

No.23500 of 2019(2) dt.11-04-2019 2/2 antecedent and he is remained in custody for more than four months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Session Judge, Lakhisarai in connection with Barahiya P.S. Case No. 272 of 2018 arising out of N.D.P.S. Case 16 of 2018.
