The petitioner seeks bail in Spl. Case No. 902/2018, arising out of Narpatganj (Bathnaha) P.S. Case No. 467/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that two persons were arrested by the police coming from Nepal Border having bags. On search of the bags total 232.5 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered. The apprehended persons disclosed their name as Brahmdeo Rishideo and Basudeo Rishideo. They disclosed that the recovered illicit liquor belongs to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that

Petitioner is in custody since 20.03.2019 having clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Spl. Judge, Araria, in connection with Spl. Case No. 902/2018, arising out of Narpatganj (Bathnaha) P.S. Case No. 467/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
