Dr. K.N. Singh, ASG ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH) 23-03-2022 The petitioner is seeking quashing of a communication dated 22.01.2020, whereby her candidature for her appointment as Retail Outlet Dealer for the site "within 2 Km from Chitauli Chowk on Goriakothi to Afradmore Road in the District of Siwan" has been cancelled.
It is the petitioner's own case that pursuant to her selection, she was asked to deposit initial security deposit through letters dated 07.12.2019 and 01.01.2020 sent to her on e-mail ID furnished by the petitioner in her application. It is the
Patna High Court CWJC No.11197 of 2021(3) dt.23-03-2022 2/2 petitioner's case that she could not deposit the initial security as she missed to check the e-mail and that she could learn about the said letters sent through e-mail on 29.03.2021, more than one year after issuance of the said letter.
Since the petitioner did not make the initial security deposit, her candidate came to be cancelled as communicated to her through letter dated 22.01.2020.
This being an admitted fact that the petitioner failed to make the initial security deposit within the stipulated time, we do not find any reason to interfere with the decision of the respondent-Indian Oil Corporation of cancelling her candidature.
In view of the facts stated in the writ application, no case of interference under writ jurisdiction is made out. This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
