The petitioner, invoking writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution Of India, has prayed for directing the respondents to select the petitioner on the post of Anganbari Sevika in respect of Anganbari Centre - Sohar. A plea has been taken that candidate who was having lesser marks than the petitioner has been appointed as Anganbari Sevika. It has further been indicated that after noticing the irregularity in the appointment the petitioner filed representation before the Collector. However, till date, no decision has been taken on her

In view of the fact that there is already provision for making a proper complaint supported with an affidavit in terms of Clause -VIII of the Guidelines to the Appointment of Anganbari Sevika, the court proposes to dispose of the present writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to file a complaint in terms of the Guidelines supported with an affidavit. If such complaint supported with an affidavit is filed within a period of eight weeks from today before the concerned District Magistrate, the District Magistrate is required to get the matter enquired and pass appropriate order in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of such complaint. The writ petition stands disposed of.
