The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jehanabad Rail P.S. Case No. 09 of 2020, dated 01.02.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have snatched the purse and the mobile phone of the informant from the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26957 of 2020(2) dt.19-10-2020 2/2 running train.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that while he was boarding the train, mistakenly he touched the body of the informant and, therefore, a suspicion has been raised that he had tried to snatch the personal belongings of the informant.

The petitioner is in custody since 02.02.2020 and earns his livelihood by begging on the streets. Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner and his period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Railway Judicial Magistrate, Railway Court, Gaya in connection with Jehanabad Rail P.S. Case No. 09 of 2020. The application stands allowed.
