10-04-2015 Heard Sri Uma Kant Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to AAG-8.

The petitioner, invoking writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article-226 of the Constitution of India, has prayed for appointing him as Chowkidar. It has been claimed that the petitioner has worked as Avazi Chowkidar. The petitioner has also claimed his wages for the period, during which he has worked. Though the writ petition was filed in the year 2008 after serving a copy of the writ petition on learned counsel for the State, no counter affidavit has been filed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10580 of 2008 (2) dt.10-04-2015 2/2 Accordingly, the Court proposes to dispose of the present writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned District Magistrate regarding his claim made in the present writ petition. If such representation is filed within eight weeks from today, the Court expects that the District Magistrate (Respondent no.2) may examine the same and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation.
