The instant writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner for directing the respondents to take effective steps to fulfil the legal duty and to arrest the accused persons of Murar P.S. Case No. 20 of 2015 dated 24.05.2014 registered under Sections 304-B and 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

WJC No.889 of 2015 dt.26-07-2016 2 / 2 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that despite lapse of over two years the police have not yet arrested any accused persons named in the FIR. He has alleged that the police are acting in collusion with the accused persons. Learned counsel for the State has contended that the police have investigated and supervised the case properly and diligently. During investigation of the case, it came into light that daughter of the writ petitioner fled away from the house of her inlaws on her own volition as she had developed intimacy with some other person and the investigating agency is trying to locate the whereabouts of the daughter of the informant. Taking into consideration the submissions advanced at the Bar, I find no merit in this application. Accordingly, the application is dismissed.
