2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 281, 106(1) of the B.N.S. and later on, Sections 103(1), 238 and 61(2) of B.N.S. have been added.
3. The case of the prosecution, in short, is that during patrolling duty, the local villagers have informed the informant that a dead body of unknown person was lying in the ditch by the road side. According to the informant, it appears to be a case of accident.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during course of investigation, the statement of brother of the deceased was recorded who has stated that the petitioner along with others was accompanying the deceased and they have gone to see fair. Thereafter, all four persons have given their confessional statement. During investigation, it has come that the deceased was having illicit relationship with the wife of the co-accused Amarjeet Singh. It has further been submitted that as far as this petitioner is concerned, he has got no motive to commit the offence. It has further been submitted that initially, this case was found to be of accident. Later on, it has been made a case of murder. It has further been submitted that save and except the confessional statement and the petitioner was last seen with the deceased, there is nothing against him He is languishing in judicial custody since 06.02.2026.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State and learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the application for bail. Learned counsel for the informant has submitted that as per statement of the brother of the deceased, the petitioner was also seen along with others and they have gone to see fair. Petitioner was last seen with the deceased.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Chakia (Chakiya) P.S. Case No. 66 of 2025.
