JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 11-01-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 206 of 2016 registered under Sections307/34 & other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code. There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he assaulted the informant's husband and others by means of farsa. The injury report of informant's husband goes to show that he sustained sharp cutting injury.
Therefore, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 206 of 2016 stands rejected.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54648 of 2016 (2) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 However, the concerned court shall consider the regular bail application of the petitioner on its own merit without being prejudiced by this rejection order.
