Petitioner has prayed for following relief:- "This application is being filed on behalf of the petitioners for quashing the Rules framed under Sections 69 of the Indian Registration Act duly published in the Extra- ordinary Bihar Gazette dated 19th March, 1997. The petitioner also challenges the validity of the Sections 5 and 6 of the Amending Act by which Section 68 A, 68 B have been introduced and the petitioners further pray that after quashing of the order
Patna High Court CWJC No.9234 of 1997 dt.19-08-2020 2/2 dated 26.8.1997 (Annexure 6) and 27.8.1997 and 30.8.97 (Annexure 8 series) respondents 4, 5, 6 they may be mandated to renew their lices since 1.1.1997." It has been submitted on behalf of learned counsel for the respondents that the issue raised in this writ petition stands decided by a Division Bench of this Court in C.W.J.C. No.762 and 886 of 1992 and 493 of 1994 vide order dated 16.09.1998 (Parikh Engineering and Body Building Co. Ltd. and ors. Vs. Union of India (UOI) and Ors, accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of in same terms.
