The petition was preferred for compliance of the order dated 01.05.2018 in C.W.J.C. No. 4783 of 2017. The direction was given to the Patna University (ViceChancellor) to decide the case of the petitioner within 60 days in the light of the Hon'ble Apex Court judgment (in the case of

Patna High Court MJC No.1405 of 2019(4) dt.13-07-2023 2/2 Secretary, State of Karnataka & Ors. vs. Umadevi & Ors. Reported in (2006) 4 SCC1.

Subsequent to the last order dated 27.6.2023, the University has filed show cause bringing on record the order dated 3.7.2023 passed by the Vice-Chancellor of the said University by the claim of the petitioner has been rejected. This Court is convinced that the order of the writ Court stands complied.

The petitioner, if so wants, can challenge the same before an appropriate Court.

The MJC No. 1405 of 2019 stands disposed of.
