The present writ application has been filed for the following relief/s:- "(i) For issuance of directions to the Magadh University for payment of difference of arrears of salary in U.G.C. revised scale

Patna High Court CWJC No.7785 of 2019(11) dt.24-06-2024 2/3 for the period from 01.01.2006 to 31.03.2010 to the teaching staffs of College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna.

(ii) For direction to the respondent Magadh University for payment of the aforesaid difference of arrears of salary for the said period with interest as the University after receiving the funds from the State Government has made payment on pick and choose basis (iii) For direction to the Magadh University for payment of the arrears of the salary to the teaching staffs of the College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna as per updated pay fixation done by the Magadh University and pay verification made by the pay Verification Cell of Education Department of Government of Bihar.

(iv) Any other relief or reliefs, petitioner is entitled for, in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some part of the arrear has not been paid to the teaching staffs of the College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patna and in this regard has enclosed the details annexed at Annexure-6 of the supplementary affidavit.

In the aforesaid background, petitioner is directed to file a

Patna High Court CWJC No.7785 of 2019(11) dt.24-06-2024 3/3 detailed representation before the Registrar of the Magadh University within a period of four weeks from today and the Registrar of the Magadh University is well advised to look into the same and make payment of arrears of dues to the aggrieved teaching staffs within a period of six months thereafter. 6.
