In this case, the petitioner has initially raised the grievance that the component of the compensation has not distinctively been mentioned in the award. Further claim was made that the petitioner was not given the solatium amount, which is the part of Section 23 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1994. On earlier occasion, this Court had directed the State to file supplementary counter affidavit, explaining in what manner the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20557 of 2014 dt.13-02-2018 compensation award has been prepared, which has been explained by the State in its supplementary counter affidavit. Now, the present petitioner submits that the amount of compensation is in lower side, the petitioner has surrendered the land voluntarily, so he is entitled to higher compensation amount. Let the petitioner approach the Collector, Patna, under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act for redressal of his grievance. If the petitioner approaches, the Collector, Patna, shall consider his case on merit and take decision accordingly. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
