JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-09-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being husband of the daughter of the informant is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 302 and 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant after four years of marriage by causing burn injury for non fulfillment of dowry demands.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim died due to accidental fire while cooking when the deceased's son also received injury.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the State that the accusation is specific against the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40018 of 2016 (2) dt.19-09-2016 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 110 of 2014 pending in the court of learned CJM, Gaya.
This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
