The petitioner is aggrieved by the preparation of the seniority list of the saw mills insofar as it relates to the District of Nalanda. The petitioner also questions the notification of the Environment and Forest Department, Government of Bihar dated 30.8.2010 insofar as it provides for the procedure for preparation of the seniority list of the saw mills.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that though the seniority list was prepared way back in 2011 but the petitioner approached this Court in reasonable time as also considering that the guidelines dated 30.8.2010 at Clause-
Patna High Court CWJC No.6719 of 2011 (11) dt.19-08-2016 2 (vi) provides a forum for raising a grievance which lies before the District and Sessions Judge concerned, I deem it proper to dispose of this writ petition granting liberty to the petitioner, if so advised, to take recourse to the appellate remedy so available to him under the guidelines dated 30.8.2010 and should any such appeal be filed within 30 days from today, the District and Sessions Judge concerned would consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
This application is disposed of accordingly.
