2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Manigachi P.S. Case No. 207 of 2024 for the offence punishable under sections 109(1) and 103 of the BNS lodged on 17.11.2024 by the informant, Ajay Kumar Das.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while her mother was sitting at the door, the petitioner came with 'tengari' and attacked her, she became unconscious due to injury, when the informant's grandmother came to save her, she too was injured. They were shifted to Ramshila Hospital where the informant's mother, Lalita Devi succumbed to the injuries. This led to the FIR.

4. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to
