The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gwalpara P. S. Case No. 17 of 2020 dated 05.02.2020, instituted for offences under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26997 of 2020(2) dt.20-10-2020 2/3 It appears from the F.I.R. that petitioner and others were arrested while making preparation for committing Dacoity. From the possession of the petitioner, a country-made pistol is said to have been recovered.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the earlier cases in which the petitioner has been made accused, he has been granted bail in most of the cases. Only because of his past antecedents, he has been made accused in this case.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 06.02.2020.

Regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Udakishunganj, District - Madhepura in connection with Gwalpara P. S. Case No.
