The petitioner has filed this writ petition for directing the respondents to consider his case for promotion on the post of Manager from the post of Deputy Manager as junior to the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of Manager. At the relevant time the petitioner was working on the post of Assistant Manager. The petitioner filed CWJC No. 22151 of 2013 for his promotion to the post of Deputy Manager from the post of Assistant Manager as his junior, namely, Sri D. J. Das Gupta, whose name appear at serial No.4 in the category of Sales Officer/ Marketing Officer, just below the petitioner, was promoted to the post of Deputy Manager. The aforesaid writ
Patna High Court CWJC No.10012 of 2014 (4) dt.20-11-2017 2/2 petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass order in accordance with law. When the respondents did not pass any order on the representation of the petitioner, the petitioner filed M.J.C. No. 1067 of 2015 but the same was also disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pass order on the representation of the petitioner. Thereafter, the respondents vide order dated 13.10.2017 disposed of the representation of the petitioner and rejected his case for promotion to the post of Deputy Manager from the post of Assistant Manager. Against the aforesaid order the petitioner filed appeal before the Chairman- cum-Managing Director, National Textile Corporation on 02.11.2017.
In view of the fact that representation of the petitioner for his promotion to the post of Deputy Manager from the post of Assistant Manger has already been rejected vide order dated 13.10.2017 and the petitioner has preferred appeal before the Chairman- cum-Managing Director, National Textile Corporation against the order dated 13.10.2017, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Chairman- cum-Managing Director, National Textile Corporation to hear the petitioner and dispose of his appeal within four months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
This writ petition stands disposed of.
