2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 498A, 376D, 109 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and Sections 66(e) and 67 of the I.T. Act.

3. As per prosecution case, on 19.05.2024 in between 10 AM to 11 AM, all five accused persons, including this petitioner, entered into the room of informant and on the instigation of co-accused Vivekanand Kushwaha, all of them

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26211 of 2025(3) dt.08-08-2025 2/2 made her naked and captured her obscene photographs and thereafter, committed gang rape. During investigation, the victim in her statement has supported the prosecution case.

4. Considering the specific and direct nature of accusation and statement of the victim, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is rejected.

5. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 21.11.2024, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
