JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 16-10-2017 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 09.05.2008 passed by learned District Magistrate, Jehanabad in Case No. 9/2008 which has been communicated to the petitioner through registered post on 07.06.2008, whereby and whereunder the District Magistrate, Jehanabad has been pleased to cancel the selection/appointment of the petitioner as Anganwari Sevika at Anganwari Centre No. 92 at village Derhsaiya, under the Kako Block of District Jehanabad.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner when the matter is called.

3. At the very outset this Court takes note that the petitioner had remedy by way of an appeal against the impugned order of the District Magistrate, Jehanabad in terms of relevant guidelines, which has not been availed and the petitioner has approached this Court straightaway without

Patna High Court CWJC No.10441 of 2008 dt.16-10-2017 availing of the alternative remedy.
