1. The petitioner claims grant of A.C.P. on completion of 12 years to 24 years of service.
2. The respondents have filed the reply and pointed out that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Steno SubInspector in the year, 1969. He was thereafter posted as Police Sub Inspector in the year, 1973. He was promoted as Police Inspector on 23.09.1981 and was further promoted as Dy. S.P. on 04.03.1999. Thus, he has already received two promotions during his service and, therefore, as per the Bihar State Employees Condition (Assured Career Progression Scheme) Rules, 2003, the petitioner cannot be said to be entitled to benefit of first A.C.P. The benefit has, therefore, been denied to

3. This Court, does not find any error in the decision of the respondents in not granting first A.C.P. to the petitioner, as he already stood promoted twice during the period.
4. The writ petition is mis-conceived and accordingly dismissed.
