In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No.514 of 2017 (G.R. No.338 of 2017), registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 506, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made that the petitioner has forcibly constructed his house over the public road and when the villagers protested the same, he resorted indiscriminate firing. Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
