This application is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is going to retire very soon, whereafter, his income will substantially come down.

It goes without saying that the petitioner shall have the liberty to take recourse to the provisions of Section 127 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for alteration of the maintenance amount in changed circumstances.
