Respondent/s =========================================================== For the Petitioner/s : Mr Mohammad Sufyan, Advocate For the Respondent/s : Mr. Rajani Kant Mishra =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-01-2018 Counsel for the petitioner submits that upon death of the father of the petitioner on 02.07.2009, when he died in harness from the Bihar State Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation Limited, he submitted his application for compassionate appointment on 17.07.2009.

He submits that even though he had made several representations and reminders, which are contained in Annexure 6 series, but no action has been taken on his claim for compassionate appointment.

Patna High Court CWJC No.11414 of 2014 dt.03-01-2018 2/2 direction was issued by this Court to consider the case of the petitioners therein for compassionate appointment who, as per the submission of the petitioner's counsel, are similarly situated as the petitioner.

Having made the aforesaid submissions, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the authorities for his claim for compassionate appointment claiming parity of writ petitioners of CWJC No 18068 of 2010 and CWJC No 6665 of 2012 (supra).

In view of the aforesaid prayer, the writ petition is disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to approach the authorities who would be obliged to consider the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law, if the scheme of compassionate appointment is available in the Corporation. If such application is filed, the authorities must dispose it of expeditiously preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
