The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Begusarai P.S. Case No. 717 of 2017 registered under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that save and except the ocular version of the informant there is no other evidence to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. The self prepared audit report cannot be made a ground for prosecuting an employee, who has worked in the Company almost eight years without there being any complaint from any corner. It is further contended that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and having roots in the

Learned counsel for the State opposed the application for grant of bail of the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation and the submissions made above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai P.S.Case No. 717 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
