The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bhabua P. S. Case No. 779 of 2017 registered under Sections 387 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering the allegation that the petitioner got gutkha from the shop of the informant and on demand of price, he assaulted the informant with butt of pistol as also the fact that he is accused in at least five other cases of serious nature, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
