The petitioner is in custody in connection with Complaint Case No. 1222 of 2011 for the offences under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 27.09.2018. He further submits that the disputes marriage with the victim.
