The petitioner seeks bail in Kursela P.S. Case No. 197 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner demanded rangdari and on refusal, this petitioner alongwith other F.I.R. named co-accused persons assaulted informant and his brother, due to which, they became badly injured.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that there is case and counter case and both sides sustained injury. Injury report of informant is not available on record and petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2020. Investigation is complete.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Kursela P.S. Case No. 197 of 2020.
